ABOUT ME

A few things about me:

 

  • My husband and I live in Grosse Pointe with our daughter.

  • We also have a dog, Wooly, who will make an appearance in the Tower room from time to time.

  • I attended Oakland University and Michigan State University for my undergrad and masters degree​.

  • I am a certified journalism educator through the Journalism Education Association. 

  • I am the vice president of the Michigan Interscholastic Press Association. MIPA works to support students and their advisers across the state.

  • I speak at both state and national conferences about scholastic journalism and specialize in helping new advisers get started in the classroom. 

  • When I'm not working with Tower I enjoy exploring Detroit with my family, traveling up north, being outside and reading.
